Welcome in this post I share some cool mini project I did with my 3 year old son.
I used the tinkercad (a free simple web based 3d modeling software) to make this shark with him and then got one of my 3d printers to bring it to life.
He is still a bit too young to do it on his own but basically he guided me telling me what shapes to use and where to put them.
It took us about 10 minutes to make it and about 40 minutes to print, he was very happy and ended up playing with it during bath time, it was a great little project and I hope soon he will be able to make stuff on his own.
Right above is a screen shot of the finished projects, tinkercad is a great tool especially for children and people new to 3d modeling, it's far from the best software and is fairly limited but its simplicity makes it a great option for certain application.
