it's Japanese, visually similar to nugget but they are bigger. It's a chicken coated with breadcrumb then deep fried.

Here the most similar thing I've tried is something called "sweet and sour chicken", which is a Chinese dish and is very tasty. Seriously, you have made me hungry.
I liked the place you visited, the floor caught my attention, it's like granite or something similar, very interesting too.
