RE: A Cozy Friday Lunch at Sadıkoğlu Döner, Vadi Istanbul

Hehe yes, it really does look like pizza at first glance, but it’s actually lahmacun, a very popular Turkish dish. It’s made with a thin flatbread topped with a mixture of minced meat (usually beef or lamb), tomatoes, onions, peppers, parsley, and spices. It’s baked until crispy and usually served with fresh parsley, onion, and a squeeze of lemon on top. Some people even roll it up like a wrap. It’s lighter than pizza but full of flavor — definitely worth trying if you ever get the chance!

I see. I didn't really explore turkish food. I'm sure there's some around Malaysia; I will have to look into it and try some time. It looks good though; I will try if I ever get the chance!

Yes, definitely give it a try if you get the chance! Turkish and Kurdish food have so much variety — from simple soups and mezes to rich dishes like döner, kebab, and lahmacun. I’m sure you can find some places in Malaysia, and it’s worth exploring. If you do, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Thank you I will! maybe if you go to malaysia and find a good one, you can share here and let me know hehe. You can test it out for me xD. I will share here if I do find one someday

Ok 👌😊
