Introduction
On Tuesday, I went to IKEA with my boss to get a table for our office. We actually reached their separately and somehow ended up there at almost the same time. I was coming from training someone at Selak Selatan and he was coming from SS15. I was super hungry because it was already almost 3am so we went to have lunch first. Despite being a furniture store, IKEA is also known for their food.
Swedish Restaurant @IKEA
This restaurant was located inside IKEA Cheras. They actually have three different restuarnts. The other two is a cafe and a bistro. The one we tried was the restaurant. Most of the food is Swedish style. The Swedish restaurant was a bit cooler than the cafe and bistro because you could get a shopping cart and walk in the line and choose the food to get. There was some food where the workers helped get and there was some self service items as well. It was a unique experience because you don't really see this in restaurants. I couldn't find the restaurant one from google so I took the Swedish cafe google reviews. You can see that there's 4 out of 5 stars which is above average.

Food
Finally, this is what you have been waiting for. So here you can see the shopping cart where you can put trays on it and then put the food on the tray. One cart can have three trays but I only needed two for mine. I had the lamb pasta. The lamb pasta was alright. The chicken sausage was delicious, nice and long. I really liked the garlic bread. I also had a chocolate roll which you can't really go wrong with. Lastly, I had the banana muffin and I wasn't a big fan of this one. This was the one item that I regretted buying. I thought it was cool that they had their water in a can. You don't normally see that.
Concluding Thoughts
Honestly, the food was overall good. I did make a mistake on the banana muffins though. I will definitely come back next time to try the beef ribs. I saw a lot of people eating it so I kind of regret not getting it but it was also kind of expensive. It would've cost more than everything that I ordered in this post. The bill came out around RM34 which is about $8 dollars; I think the price wasn't too bad considering all the food I ordered. I will give IKEA food a 3.8 out of 5.
