Last weekend felt even more enjoyable because I started the day by exercising with my friends. After a fairly tiring workout, we decided to find a comfortable and calming place to relax and recharge. We chose a cafe with a modern, minimalist design called Oslo & Co, which turned out to be our new favorite spot!
First Impression: Calm & Cozy
As soon as we walked in, the cafe's atmosphere immediately felt calm. The elegant gray marble walls, warm lighting, and crisp white tables created a clean and modern feel. There's an indoor area with several private seating areas and a small outdoor area decorated with green plants, perfect for those who enjoy aesthetic photography.
The cafe's interior is quite spacious, and the seating arrangement makes customers feel comfortable even when it's crowded. The music is played at just the right volume—audible enough to be heard, but not distracting from the conversation.
The Food: Ayam Geprek Ricebowl, Simple Yet Satisfying
We chose the Ayam Geprek Ricebowl, and it turned out to be the highlight of the day! Served in a black bowl that contrasted with the golden color of the chicken and the bright red chili sauce, it immediately aroused our appetite. The portion was just right—not too little, not too much.
The chicken was fried crispy to the perfect doneness, the meat was juicy, and the breading remained crispy even with the chili sauce. The chili sauce itself was intensely spicy but still enjoyable, even for those who can't handle spicy food. There were fresh cucumber and cabbage slices to complement the meal, along with warm, fluffy white rice.
And we ordered chicken nuggets for snacking while chit chat.
To drink, I chose Oslo & Co.'s signature Ice aren coffee, and my friends chose matcha latte and blue spark (i forgot what the real name).
The coffee was strong enough, with a balanced creaminess, and a perfect way to end our lunch.
Service & Price
The service here was quite fast and friendly. The staff greeted us promptly and patiently explained the menu. We didn't have to wait long for our food to be served.
We found the price very reasonable considering the ambiance and the taste of the food. The fried chicken rice bowl is priced around Rp 25,000, and coffee drinks start at Rp 18,000.
Conclusion: Worth the Visit!
We'll definitely be back next time to try other menu items, especially the desserts and coffees, which are said to be equally delicious!
