Eden Grow Systems is committed to addressing food desert issues in Houston, Texas, and integrating fresh, indoor produce into commercial settings.
A notable partnership is with J.W. Marriot, in Houston, where their systems provide fresh mint for the hotel's special cocktails. We have established an indoor garden in the historic Esperson Building, housing over 300 plants in a 2,000 square foot area. This indoor garden, along with others, is a testament to their commitment to indoor gardening and Agricultural STEM and gardening classes.

In addition to indoor gardening, we conduct Agricultural STEM and gardening classes. Our partnership with NASA enables us to teach cultivation techniques applicable to various growing methods, including root vegetables and mushrooms.

Our systems allow for a 95% reduction in water usage, elimination of harmful chemicals, and a 25% faster growth rate. Collaborating with Urban Farmers, we aim to produce up to 2.5 acres of nursery plants using their High Density decks, offering flexibility in propagation methods.
While indoor agriculture cannot match the volume of a 1,000-acre farm, it provides valuable augmentation and use cases, similar to the benefits of a greenhouse. Their ability to produce up to 2.5 acres of nursery plants is a significant advantage over non-implementation.

Below is where one of our Agro-Economist @shakavon made a significant contribution to the community by dedicating his Labor Day weekend to engaging with a local community garden, South Union Community Development Veterans Garden, a vital initiative situated in the Third Ward of Houston, Texas. This endeavor facilitated substantial community connections within the region, demonstrating the power of local engagement and collaboration.
In a concerted effort with the Veterans Garden, Eden Grow Systems has pledged its commitment to cultivating a perpetual harvest across the garden's three locations. These locations collectively span a total area of 4.8 acres, providing a substantial footprint for the implementation of Eden Grow Systems advanced agricultural technology.
By utilizing our high-density decks, we are able to allocate three towers, each with the impressive capacity to house up to 780 plants. This strategic deployment of our technology is designed to maximize the use of available space, thereby enhancing the garden's productivity and output.
Historically, the Veterans Garden has been confronted with spatial limitations, which have necessitated the direct seeding of plants into their fields. However, with our assistance, the garden can now optimize planting time and yield higher quality produce. This intervention represents a significant advancement in the garden's operations, as it not only increases efficiency but also enhances the nutritional profile of the produce.
The positive implications of this intervention extend beyond the garden itself, as it will contribute significantly to addressing the local fresh food crisis. By providing an enhanced food supply for the community, Eden Grow Systems and the South Union Community Development Veterans Garden are working together to ensure that fresh, nutritious produce is more accessible for those who need it most.
