Erosion is a physical process in which soil earthen materials like soil, rocks are being wash away by natural forces like rain or wind. This loss of fertile soil makes land less productive for agriculture thereby making crops look bad.

Nothing makes a farmer feels bad than seeing his crops not doing well or the crops being attacked by pests after putting a hard work.

On this day 30th April 2024, i went to farm to weed only to met it this way.

It hurts, but as a farmer, you have to prepare for whatever comes your way for that's what makes you a good farmer. I also noticed that all the chicken poop (manure) i applied on the soil was also washed away by the rain making the crops looks so bad.

the worst part

As if the erosion wasn't enough, my crops was also attacked by pest. Maybe its because of the erosion maybe not. I have applied physical chemicals to help control this pests but it seems its not working.
Just take a look how pest are giving me sleepless night

This is the current situation of my farm land. Anyone with a useful information on what to apply to stop pest from destroying my farm products?

Soon, i will soon start the fight with birds and squirrels who like reaping what they do not sow (smiles)

I strongly believe i will win this battle with time and your experience and advice is highly needed on how to control the pests and erosion. Farmers support farmers. Hopefully, your advice will go a long way to help me.
