Feliz noche amigos de Be entrepreneur está noche quiero compartir con ustedes que luego de que mi emprendimiento estuviera paralizado por tanto tiempo luego de lo que viví con mi mamá está semana me animé a volver a mis inicios y hacer tortas y venderlas por porciones. La verdad es que tenía miedo de hacer está torta y que no se vendiera ya que el dinero ahorita está bastante complicado para mí como para hacer el gasto y no recuperar la inversión. Pero debo decir que tengo unos clientes maravillosos que me compraron las porciones de torta. En esta oportunidad decidí hacer una torta marmoleada y con un topping de chocolate algo bastante sencillo. Pero de verdad que estuve muy agradecida por la receptividad y quiero hacer más tortas para vender.
Good evening, friends of Be Entrepreneur! Tonight I want to share with you that after my business was on hold for so long, and after what I experienced with my mom, this week, I decided to return to my roots and start making cakes and selling them by the slice. The truth is, I was afraid to make this cake and not have it sell, since money is quite tight for me right now, and I couldn't afford to spend it and not recoup my investment. But I must say that I have some wonderful customers who bought slices of cake. This time, I decided to make a marble cake with a chocolate topping—something quite simple. But I was truly grateful for the positive response and I want to make more cakes to sell.
Entre mis opciones estaba hacer una torta de vainilla sencilla y decorarla con arequipe. Pero tenía cacao en casa así que decidí hacer una torta marmoleada. Así quedó la mezcla una vez estaba lista y la lleve al horno. Aunque son tantas las tortas que he realizado tenía un poco de miedo de que la torta no quedara bien.
One of my options was to make a simple vanilla cake and decorate it with dulce de leche. But I had cocoa at home, so I decided to make a marble cake. This is what the batter looked like once it was ready and I put it in the oven. Even though I've made so many cakes, I was a little afraid this one wouldn't turn out well.
Y así quedó la torta anoche, la despegue del molde y la dejé enfriando para cortarla hoy en la mañana y poder hacerle publicidad.
And that's how the cake looked last night. I removed it from the mold and left it to cool so I could cut it this morning and advertise it.
En esta oportunidad decidí cortar está torta en 8 porciones bastante generosas, acomode todo y corte una porción para que mis clientes vieran bien como había quedado la torta y a una de estas porciones le coloque el topping para tomar la foto y así poder colocarla en mis redes sociales y ver si lograba vender las porciones de torta.
This time I decided to cut this cake into 8 fairly generous portions, I arranged everything and cut a portion so that my clients could see how the cake had turned out and on one of these portions I put the topping to take the photo and so that I could put it on my social networks and see if I could sell the cake portions.
Una vez que coloque la foto en mis estados de WhatsApp me comenzaron a escribir y la verdad que vendí la torta bastante rápido y estoy muy agradecida de esto. Lo que hice con la venta de esta torta lo voy a reinvertir para que mis clientes se vayan acostumbrando a que volví al negocio con mis tortas. Para la próxima torta que quiero hacer quiero que sea de piña.
Once I posted the photo on my WhatsApp status, people started messaging me, and I sold the cake pretty quickly, which I'm very grateful for. I'm going to reinvest the money I made from selling this cake so my customers can get used to the fact that I'm back in the business with my cakes. For the next cake I want to make, I want it to be a pineapple cake.
