Hello, great people in Hive!!
And hello, "Foodie Lovers"🥰
I am here again to share another simple but very delicious and healthy dish with you.
So please follow me and we will make or cook "Bok Choy Stir-Fried with Ground Pork" dish. And to make it healthier, I added some carrots and potatoes to it. I made it for our lunch today. So, here's how I did it...
Bok Choy Stir-Fried with Ground Pork
INGREDIENTS:
• 1/2kg Ground Pork
• 2 Heads Bok Choy
• 2 pcs Carrots
• 2 pcs Potatoes
• Garlic
• Onion
• Ginger (Ginger Juice)
• Soy Sauce
• Knorr Liquid Seasoning
• Salt
• Brown Sugar
• Magic Sarap Seasoning
• Canola Oil
• Garlic Oil
• Ground Black Pepper
• Garlic Powder
• Cornstarch
• Water
PREPARATION:
Wash the ground pork thoroughly in a strainer, drain, and set aside.
Clean and wash Bok choy and then cut into pieces.
Wash and peel carrots and then cut into small pieces.
Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into small pieces and soak them in water to avoid discoloration.
Peel and wash the onion and then cut it into small pieces.
Crush and peel garlic, then cut into small pieces.
Wash and peel ginger, then grate it. Extract the juice from the ginger and set aside.
Now... let's start cooking.
COOKING TIME:
Heat some canola oil in a pan. Slightly fry the carrots and potatoes. Transfer the veggies onto a plate after slightly frying them.
With the remaining oil in the pan, add the ground pork and sauté until a little brownish or until the water evaporates.
Then, push the ground pork to the side. Add a little canola oil, then sauté garlic and onion to the opposite side until fragrant. Then, mix them with the ground pork and sauté together.
Then add the ginger juice to make it more savory and more fragrant.
Then, add a little slurry and season with garlic powder and ground black pepper. Stir and mix them well. You can add a little water if needed. Then, add a pinch of salt, soy sauce, a little Knorr liquid seasoning, a little magic sarap seasoning, and 1 tbsp of brown sugar to enhance the taste.
Continue cooking for a few minutes until the sauce is reduced. Then add the slightly fried potatoes and carrots. (Frying potatoes and carrots before mixing them with the rest of the ingredients can give them a unique flavor and good texture.)
Then, add the bok choy and stir fry for two to three minutes or until it's wilted but still crisp-tender.
Before putting off the heat drizzle a small amount of garlic oil or you can also use sesame or olive oil.
And... this is it, all done!! 😊
My family really loved and enjoyed it.
I also prepared some apples and oranges and cut them into bite-size pieces for dessert.
Bon Appetit!! 🍽🍎🍊
I hope you like it. Thanks a lot for stopping by... until my next post!🙂 Happy weekend, and God bless..🎈❣
