Hello everyone!! 😊
Here's another chicken recipe, and today it is "Chicken Soup with Misua". Misua refers to very thin noodles made from wheat flour, often referred to as wheat vermicelli or Chinese vermicelli.
Here's how I prepared and cooked it.
Chicken Soup with Misua
INGREDIENTS:
- Chicken
- Misua
- Patola or Sponge Gourd
- Cabbage
- Tomatoes
- Onion
- Garlic
- Ginger
- Salt
- Knorr Chicken Cube
- Knorr Liquid Seasoning
- Soy Sauce
- Ground Black Pepper
- Canola Oil
- Water
PREPARATION:

Wash the chicken thoroughly, strain and drain, and then set aside.
Wash and peel the patola, and then slice thinly.
Wash the cabbage and then cut it into pieces.
Wash and peel the onion, and then cut it into small pieces.
Wash and peel ginger and then cut in strips.
Crush and peel the garlic, then cut it into small pieces.
Wash the tomatoes and then cut them into small pieces.
Set all the ingredients aside.
COOKING TIME:

Heat some canola oil in a pan or cooker, then sauté ginger, onions, and garlic until aromatic.
Then add the chicken and sauté it together with the aromatics until it becomes slightly brown.

Then add the tomatoes, sauté for a few seconds, and then add water. Cover the pan or cooker and let it simmer.
When it starts to simmer, season with a pinch of salt and a little ground black pepper to taste, then add a small amount of soy sauce and a few drops of Knorr liquid seasoning to enhance the flavor.
Continue cooking for about 5 minutes, then add a Knorr chicken cube to make it more savory. Cover the pan again and continue cooking for a few more minutes or until the chicken becomes tender.

Then add the patola. Cook for 2 minutes, then add the misua. Cook it for about 3-4 minutes, and lastly, add the cabbage and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
And that's it, all done. This is good for lunch or dinner.

Although the sun has already shown up today after those successive rainy days, it is still windy today, so this dish is still suitable or good for today's weather.
It tastes really good and we have a happy tummy again.
That's it for today, and I hope you like this kind of dish too.
Thank you so much for stopping by, and God bless. 🙏💖
