Hello everyone!!
Do you like to eat chicken wings?
If you do, let's cook another version of chicken wings.
This Crispy Soy-Butter Chicken Wings recipe is deliciously simple and easy, and with just a few ingredients.
So now, let's get started.
Crispy Soy-Butter Chicken Wings

INGREDIENTS:

- 1/2 kg Chicken Wings
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Powdered Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- A pinch of Salt
- 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1 tsp Kalamansi Juice
- 1 tbsp Brown or White Sugar
- 1 1/2 to 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1/2 cup Cornstarch (for coating)
- 2 tbsp of Slurry (1tsp cornstarch and 2 tbsp of Water)
- Spring Onions
PREPARATION:

Wash and cut chicken wings into halves.

Season them with a pinch of salt and pepper, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, paprika, kalamansi juice, all-purpose flour, and water. Mix them well and set aside. Let this marinate for at least 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, pour some cornstarch into a bowl and then coat the marinated chicken. Shake off excess cornstarch before deep-frying. Then set aside.
Wash the spring onions and thinly slice them for garnish later.
COOKING TIME:

Deep-fry the chicken wings for 12 to 15 minutes at medium heat. Then flip to cook evenly.

After cooking, transfer them to a strainer to drain excess oil, then place them on a plate and set aside.

In a dry, clean pan, melt the butter, then add the remaining garlic powder, soy sauce, and sugar. You can also add ground pepper if needed. Then add a tbsp of water.

Once the sauce is simmering, add the slurry and simmer for a few seconds more.

Then add the fried chicken wings. Toss until all are coated with the sauce and the sauce evaporates. Then garnish with some thinly cut spring onions.

And there it is, all done and ready to serve while hot.
Another happy meal with the family despite everything that happened due to typhoon Tino. Still trying our best to bounce back slowly.
I hope you have a delicious meal with family, too. Happy eating...😋❣
I'll just end my post here, and until next time.
Thank you so much for stopping by and God bless...🙂🙏❤
