Hi, I am Arveno and i am from Surabaya city Indonesia. I want to make content about my old hobbies. A little my background story. I am from middle low class economy in Indonesia. And when i was kid i am living in small town called Malang city. Mostly at that time i am playing with my neighbor friend in basketball court which is located behind the house. I am not only playing basketball there, sometimes i play soccer or hide and seek or just cycling around the field. Thats why i never have proper toy figure. In contrary my mom loved collecting action figure from Mc Donald. Yeah almost every week after done going to church, my mom offering me to eating Mc Donald. Mostly i just want the ice cream not the burger or the fries. At first yeah i loved it, but after several months eating everyweek i just bored with the taste. Thats why i never have my own toys. And this Mc Donald toys is stored and displayed in a glass cabinet and locked by my mom. So me and my brother cannot play it. My moms knew that if the toy played by us, absolutely it will be mess and lost. And yeah mostly we are as a kid never cleaning up my toys. Thats why my moms very rare buying us action figure like this.
Thats why whenever i am going to Surabaya at big city and going to mall at that time. I just see and cannot afford to buy any toys figure. And It's stuck in my heart to this day. Many people said that the inner child is not satisfied enough, thats why i still love to toy store and seeing there. And if i have excess money i am buying the toy that i want. My first collection toys is One Piece action figure. But, right now i just displaying it on my parents home. yeah i stored and displayed there. Since i still dont have any place in my house. Maybe after i done buying my own house i will make some space for displaying my action figure and bring it to my own house. And secondly i am trying to collecting mini figures.
Yep like in the picture above. I starting to collecting mini figures with 1 : 87 scale. I kinda love making something to be a nice concept to sarcastic or supporting something like in the picture above. My concept was climbing together in Hive. And if already reach a high place it is time to wait and helping other people below. But, i stopped buying this mini figures after covid and i never buy it again. Maybe after my financial more stable i will started to buy one by one mini figures again. This mini figures is kinda expensive in my country. If any of friends that from germany that can send it to me with cheap shipping cost you can drop in comment and DM me in Discord, IG, X or FB. I can paid using Hive, thats kinda cool right.
Lately when i am going to mall with my little family. I am kinda interested with stall called KKV but right now changed to OH-SOME. And in this stall there is toys section. And yeah guess what, this toys are mostly copying and licensed by the original one. And you know what. it is way cheaper than the original ones. And for quality. Since i am not the real and trully collector that seeking the original and the best fine. I think as long as i love the action figure it is not a problem with me. And this is the story that i got trapped by my lttle brother.
Not long ago, all my brother gathered in my city. Check in this content. And yeah at that time, we are all strolling in mall near my house and eating there. At some point we are going to Oh-Some store and just browsing and seeing the toys. And my little brother said that he got lego toys that really cheap. I dont believe at first. And my little brother forced me to asking to staff and collecting all the lego toys figure (Three Kingdom edition). After i asking nicely to staff about the price and i said yeah thats affordable. My little brother said to staff that need to bring it at counter. Thats why i cannot refuse when staff bringing the toy at cashier. Yeah in the end i bought one.
Yep, i bought Zhuge Liang Blookes figure. Anyway they called Blookes here i dont know why maybe they are copying from Lego. I am very love with Sam Kok figures. If i have money i will buying action figure 1 : 8 Guan Yu edition with super detail. And the price is around 2,5k$ only for action figure. But, if i have money i think it is worth it.Back again to blookes. Anyway this Blookes toys are very cheap. It cost only 1,5$. And in the end i bought 5 more of this toys. Fortunately my wife is not mad at me. Yeah maybe i never buy anything related to my hobby in the past few years.
I love with this Huang Zhong Blookes. Since i know the story of Sam Kok. Huang Zhong is one of 5 Tiger General in Shu army that join at 65 years old and died at 75 years old not due the sick or lost to opponent. But he surrendered as decoy to save hundred thousand of Shu army. And Huang Zhong is one of top tier General that never missing any arrow shot.
If i feel angry because lost to much when playing Splinterlands, i will playing with this toys. This General called Lu Bu. The strongest General at his Prime. But death due the madness and be stupid from angry. Thats why i need to calm my mind and reduce the anger to make my mind cool.
And this General i adored called Zhao Yun. The most loyal General, strongest, clever, diligent. He died from old age. Around 85 years old.
And yeah, i still learning again to take toys photography. I am just using android phone not using DSLR. Maybe i wil starting again to using DSLR. And searching time to get the good lighting from Sun and started taking picture again.
