Yesterday Splinterlands games was doing raffle for get either Black Foil, Black Foil Arcana or Gold Foil Arcana for rewards card and usually with depends on lucky. I am very rare having chance to get this opportunity to get. Since can you imagine 300 entries compared to thousands. Thats really pure luck right?
And look what i got. I got Black Foil Rare called Careless Badger. I think i am on my lucky streak this week. After my mortage instalment got accepted, then i got this Black Foil. thats crazy. I dont know how much for this card maybe touching more than 100$ i guess. But, i dont think i will sell it maybe just renting it.
Then for today, My wife was invited to the birthday party today, actually her kids that having birthday party and they invited all the teacher family too. So, that will including me. And the good news is the place for this birthday party is really luxurious and really expensive called Bon Cafe. Place to eat luxurious steak.
At first we are really clumsy at there since we are really rare eating there maybe once in a year or maybe more. I remembered the last we are eating there it was 2 years ago after i got big project.
When we are arrived the event is almost started and the room for the party is really crowded. The kid goes to this room and for the parents its placed in the other side.
And here there are the price of this food.
Mostly above 4$ each food. Especially the steak almost 10$ for a plate. This is really expensive at least for me. And i dont know how much this kid parents wealth. Treating more than 100 people is kinda awesome. I bet they are spending more than 1500$ for only this party. Not to including the performer for today. In total maybe more than 2k$ for just kid birthday party. Thats literally crazy rich for me at least. Wonder what they do for living that can spending much money easily.
While waiting the main course coming they giving bread as appetizer and i ordered ice coconut milk as drinks. But i forgot this place is still a cafe so this drink is too sweet for me.
After a while my main course came, finally i can stop the akwardness being there since i really dont know all the people there. And truthfully i am not comfortable join in rich people community especially when many people become bootlicker and too proud with what they have and always bragging about their money.
Even though not all rich people like that ( I have few friends that really rich too ) but still i am not comfortable being there, thankfully i knew that the manner in dining table that we need to be quiet when we are eating. So, i can enjoying this silence moment without doing politeness when talking.
And just thinking how lucky i am that i can eating for free. Especially eating luxurious as this. And this steak is really dang good. The tender and delicate, the mushroom sauce and all the condiment is really delicious. Its been so long i am not eating steak. Maybe after i got big project coming i will treating my family eating here again.
Overal, hopefully this lucky streak still continue for this year.
