Instant noodle is part of our daily life here, as Asian, we tend to eat them frequently. Recently many Korean instant noodle went viral here in Indonesia. In the past we could only notice Shin Ramyun as the sole player in this section, however nowadays there are so many brands that I even can not keep up with the hype.
One thing that hasn't changed is that the price. Korean food is still a bit pricey. They never come in cheap, and I can not see why they would lower their price if our gen Z are still buying them like crazy.
Honestly I am not a fan of Korean Instant Noodle. I have tried some, but none fits my taste. I like Korean noodle, in the past I often bought Jjampong and Jjang Myeon, those tasted great and fit my taste, but not for the instant version.
Ok back to Korean instant noodle, there is a thing that pick my interest...
Recently Shin Ramyun uses Kpop Idol on their package to boost up their sale. It is on different level than what we use to see, because each package has their own Idol. Last week I saw they used AESPA Kpop Girl band, and each of their package had their own individual members...
But poor Ningning... Nobody here wanted to buy her lol. Yes this strategy is proven working well, idols who has many fans and followers, their package tends to sell out very fast. But ofcourse in a girl band, there will always be idols who are less favorite... and it is sad to see there are many Shin Ramyun left only with their picture on the package.
Well what do you think about this strategy? Does it look interesting, or it seems to defame certain idols? Do you like to try these kpop instant noodles, or maybe you want the Kpop Boys band one ? lol
Anyway, I will try to have one of them later... but not the Shin Ramyun one. I have tried that several times with my friends, before they used the KPOP idols promotions, it's just they were too spicy for me.
