Hello Asean Hive Community
As I write on the subject, I stop my frugal foodie activities for some days. It is not like I am getting rich and move to the luxurious flexing lifestyle nor I have enough of pretending to be poor here. I have another valid reason for this.
Recently the weather has been bad. Sometime raining nonstop for a whole day, and suddenly no clouds at all for a day, then sometime a half storm coming in. The result is that everyone gets sick. Even I have recovered from the last flue, I am still around people who are sick and half sick.

To avoid myself getting sick again, I have been pushing up myself to eat more. And that means I would be a lot less stricter with my budget. If usually I order some budget food that cost me around one dollar or less, these days I will not limit myself with budget.

However It doesn't mean I will go to fancy restaurant or getting some fine dining here. I still have my meal, especially my lunch, on my regular spot.
This is a Padang Rice Hut I come frequently. You can see el gato gang was coming in and they wanted to extort those women who had their lunch there. You can see what El Gato Gang could do in my last post here https://ecency.com/@dewabrata/go-get-em-gato, it's the same place, the same table but different cat and different victim.

First thing first, I got my fisbee here. That was not a weapon that I would throw to those cats. This is Krupuk Ikan, or a fish Cracker. It is very fragile, so it is not hard. It is my favorite, and I used to eat this one regularly in the past when I had not started my frugal living. Right now it costs me 2000 rupiah or around 0.12, sadly a HIVE could not get one of this.
Although it was a fish cracker, actually this food was dominated by flour dough. Maybe a piece of small chunk of fish grinded in tonnes of flour dough lol so they had a bit of fish smell without any fish taste.

I ordered a sweet ice tea here. I needed to remind them over and over to reduce the ice, else they scammed me by giving an ice cube around 90% of the glass volume. It's a bad habit that most cheap food stalls do around Indonesia.
When everything is in normal condition, I would not order sweet ice tea. I prefer to get plain tea or plain water, which of course must be a free one.

So this was my ordered meal for my lunch. A Nasi Padang (Padang rice) with a boiled cassava leaves and a green chili paste. The rice had some extra curry gravy to enrich the flavor. I had fried chicken as the main dish and a potato fritters and most Indonesian food had potato fritters in form of croquette look a like, they were not in form of pan fried cakes. Lastly the frisbee cracker lol.
It is easy to judge that this food is very rich in Sugar and Carbohydrate. I planned to have them like that, regarding I would not limit my carbo intake during period that I felt my health was low and unstable.
Ok that's my story for today post. Feel free to leave any comment and thanks for coming here.
Thank you for coming and reading my post. I live in Jakarta, Ex-Capital City of Indonesia. I used to live by making money online, that's why I like being here, on HIVE, and in #PIMP - (Paper In My Pocket) community.
