Salad should be eaten before the main course. Have you tried salads with edible flowers? Like the "katuray?" It is so delicious. I have tried it when my Dad (he's an Ilocano that's why we do not run out of vegetables. We have vegetable garden in our backyard. And oh, he's an Agriculturist. That's one of the reasons that we always cook veggies)was still alive and the enchilada with half-cooked string beans.
