RE: How many Indian restaurants is "enough?" in Da Nang?

in ASEAN HIVE COMMUNITY2 months ago

I was speaking to an Indian guy about this just a few days ago. he told me that these restaurants cater almost exclusively to pre-arranged tour bus groups that are composed almost entirely of Indian tourists. I believe him because I have no reason not to when he says that they are not at all interested in walk-in traffic an this is why none of them advertise or even seem at all concerned about whether or not there are a dozen other Indian restaurants in the same neighborhood.

There is one Indian across the river.... ONE. So this suggests to me that the Indian tourists must be hiding somewhere over on this side lol . I don't really notice very many Indian tourists in Da Nang at all.

well i guess the bus system makes sense but how many buses can their possibly be to support all of these new operations

I've noticed that some of these buildings don't look as if they are made of very high quality materials. perhaps they are not actually meant to make it in the long run and the owners are there just for hopeful short-term profits and then they walk away.
