Hello and welcome to my blog! I'm Kristine, a passionate instructor from the Philippines with a decade of expertise guiding young minds. After ten fruitful years in schools back home, I've begun an exciting new chapter in my life: teaching in the United States.
As an educator, I've always felt that teaching is more than just passing on knowledge; it's about understanding, inspiring, and engaging with kids from all walks of life. Over the years, I've had the opportunity of observing my students' remarkable growth, and now I'm excited to bring that same dedication to a whole new setting in the United States.
However, this trip is more than just educating; it is also about learning. I'm here to dig deep into the vivid and diversified. I'm eager to see the various ways that people in this big country communicate, learn, and teach, from the regional customs to the educational system. As I navigate teaching in a new culture, this blog will serve as a reflection of that journey, sharing my thoughts, insights, and personal experiences.
I encourage you to accompany me as I examine the pleasures and difficulties of this cross-cultural teaching journey, regardless of whether you are an educator, a fellow traveler, or someone who is curious about the relationship between education and culture. I'm here to grow, learn, and explore the various ways that education can unite us all.
I appreciate you visiting, and I can't wait to tell you about this experience!
