Dear friends. How has your Monday been like? Today, I am going to bring you to a new restaurant here in Miri, Sarawak. The owner of this restaurant is from China.
Delicious dumplings
These are delicious handmade dumplings steamed with meat and veggies as the filling inside. Malaysian Chinese food and Chinese food from China are different in taste and texture.
The menu
So many authentic Chinese foods to choose from.
Aesthetically pleasing wordings on the wall.
There are some cute drawings on the table.
These must have been drawings from his kids.
Glutinous rice dessert with red bean filling.
Sweet little dessert. Super yummy. It is soft and slightly sweet. Red bean made into a paste.
Ordered a cup of milk and coffee
The coffee is not amazing but it still, tastes alright—a great start to the morning.
A very nice drawing on the wall.
A bowl of noodles. This owner uses a lot of art from his kids I guess. Then, there are some fireworks at the side. Makes the food taste a lot better, I guess.
Steam dumplings
These steamed dumplings are delicious to eat. The filling inside is tender and the best part is that you don't feel oily.
There was the dumpling on the menu and there is the dumpling art menu on the wall.
First time that I had seen a menu drawn on the wall. Quite amazing art work.
This is their soup dumpling.
The gravy from the soup usually permeates into the dumpling.
What the inside of the restaurant looks like.
This place is quite unique in a way that it separates the whole restaurant into two halves and one whole other half is dedicated to the kitchen where you see them busy making food.
Not the typical Malaysian signboard. This is what a Chinese signboard looks like here.
The owner here is quite friendly.
Have a great day.
