Hello all friends..and happy new year to everyone.🎉🥂. How are you today? Where do friends go to celebrate here? This morning the weather is quite cool and pleasant. The sky is still overcast because it rained lightly last night... Even though it's been two days since the New Year, the atmosphere and the sky are still the same. Before this, I had a heartbreaking event: my mother-in-law passed away suddenly. That's why I've been absent from writing. Today, as I begin the new year, I'm returning to share stories from my daily life through the various activities of myself and my family.
In the morning, I was in charge of housework and cooking for my father-in-law. After that, in the afternoon, my husband and I took the children to the school uniform store. My youngest daughter is starting a new grade, so this year she needs an additional school uniform – a skirt. When we arrived at the store, there were many children and families already buying school uniforms. Speaking of school uniforms, they are quite expensive, but considering they will be worn for three years, it's probably worth it.
My youngest daughter bought two school uniforms to change into, plus a sports uniform which had to be ordered from the school. After getting the school uniforms, we went to pay. There wasn't much to choose from because my daughter is small, so simple outfits were easy to pick. The uniform cost 37 ringgit. After paying, my husband discreetly asked the shop owner if there were any discounts, haha! The shop said they had already given us a discount. Actually, school uniforms are quite expensive, that's normal, but children can wear them for many years.
After buying our school uniforms, we went to our usual steamed bun shop. Tomorrow we'll be paying respects to our deceased mother-in-law, and all the children are preparing food for the ceremony. So we bought some steamed buns for tomorrow. Afterwards, we enjoyed eating them before heading home. That's my story for today.
