Biryani - the Special Recipe for Special Day

Friends, Happy Friday everyone.

Today started with bright and clear weather, morning was sunny and fairly warm. But after noon the atmosphere started to change and the sky became quite cloudy. Then it rained heavily, even as I was composing the post it was raining and thundering. The environment and nature is much cooler now.

Cool nature means beautiful nature and a night's sleep is likely to be much better. Although there is a lot of loadshedding in our country during rainy days, there is still an apprehension. Because there was no electricity for about two hours during the evening rain. So it's a common thing for us.

Yesterday was a special day for me, although I introduced it in yesterday's post. And there was a special recipe for that special day. Generally we all like to prepare special meals on special days. I also completed a special event yesterday by cooking Biryani.

Special moment means special arrangement, special arrangement means arrangement of delicious and favorite food. Actually we all celebrate more or less special moments with special taste food. Today I will share with you the scenes of yesterday's special biryani recipe. It is also a traditional recipe of our region.

What was in this recipe?

There were quite a number of items, such as: meat, three kinds of nuts. Chilli powder, salt, biryani special masala, ginger paste, cardamom, bay leaves, cinnamon, ghee, oil, potatoes, sour curd and rice.

How did you start cooking?

First I lit the stove well, then placed a large pot on it and heated it with nuts and special masala pastes. I had previously marinated the meats with light water and sour cream and boiled the meats with them.

I had to spend some time here, because the meat has to be cooked with special spices until it is boiled, this work has to be done slowly, otherwise the cooking is not good.

Then I took the meat down and put it back in the pan and heated the oil, added bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon and ghee.

Then I added enough water, here one thing must be remembered in the case of Biryani, if the amount of water is less or more, the cooking will not be good. Then I added the rice and covered it for some time.

After some time I removed the lid and added the boiled meats with masala and kept it covered like this for some more time. Then I removed the lid again and again to check whether it was cooked. I took it down after it was cooked.
