Do you add water on the sugar before melting it? Mine didn't melt before, so i added some water in it. πŸ˜…

Hello... No, I didn't add water anymore, just a tablespoon of white sugar per pan. As it slowly melts, I also gently swirl the pan so all sugar will be completely melted. I also saw others they just make the syrup by combining sugar and water in saucepan and when it changes to golden color, they distribute the syrup per pan. I also failed first few tries in making the syrup coz it needs proper timing.
