Good day! Another hot weather day here in PH, especially in our province. My friends scheduled a video chat the other day but the one who suggested totally forgot about it. Then it was reshcheduled last night but still failed. I don't know if it would push through tonight. Lol.
Anyway, moving on to the topic! My trip won't be complete without some takeout goods. Lol. Nah, I'm just lazy to cook dinner when I get home. Who has the energy to cook after a long travel anyway?
My craving on my trip last year were pastries, particularly that of French Baker. Blame social media for that because their breads looked really appetizing on photos.

After eating lunch on my last day at Araneta, I went back to the hotel to drop off my raffle tickets before returning inside the mall. I've already remembered the restaurant's location so I was able to find it easily. I was already on a rush to catch the 2 P.M. bus trip so getting lost inside the mall is a big no-no.

French Baker is a bakeshop, cafe, and restaurant. This pastry corner on the photo, where customers can comfortably purchase for take out, is just beside their comfy-looking restaurant.
Short story! As you can see on the photo, there were two people at the righmost corner. I didn't know that's where the entrance was and I entered from the open space nearest to me which apparently was the exit. I only noticed my mistake when I got inside and was looking for the trays. The two people weren't moving and was seemingly waiting for me to notice my mistake. I went out and circled to the entrance. Lol. Sorry!

They have lots of pastries to choose from and everything looks appetizing! I want one each of their pastries! But of course, I can only dream because aside from I can't spend all my money on pastries, it's a hassle to carry lots of things when travelling. They pack some of their pastries in boxes making it bulky to carry.

Anyway, I already have some pastries in mind before my trip but my list went back on a reset as I stood in front of these mouthwatering foods. Just look at those Danish bread flavors. I wish I bought more!

So many to choose from and they all looked delicious! Can't wait to go back again to Araneta to taste the other pastries. :)

I only bought three breads. Almond Croissant...
Cashew Chocolate Donut...
And Peach Danish bread.
Can I just say that the boxes looked pretty? It also prevents the pastry from getting squished.

Verdict? 10/10! They're as delicious as they look and I regret it so much that I only bought three just because I was worried it would be a hassle carrying them. I want to try the other pastries next time!
