Initially, my roommate and I were just walking around the hotel because we wanted to see what we could find in the area, but it turned out that our journey led us to a ramen shop. Just in case, since we were already hungry and it was already lunchtime.
MOSHI MOSHI RAMEN
Still located on Kawi street, just like the hotel we booked, Moshi-Moshi ramen is in a shophouse area that all sells food. My friend and I decided on ramen, as it was the shop that was right in front of us when we stopped and thought about what to eat. So without hesitation, we went in and found it to be a very cool ramen place.
Although it looks simple from the outside, it turns out that the interior of this restaurant is really designed with a familiar Japanese feel. When I arrived, all the seats were almost full, indicating that this restaurant must be a favourite of many as well. As a traveller, ha; the most exciting thing for me is to find good food unexpectedly, as well as to add to my list of experiences.
Actually, the restaurant is not that spacious, however, due to its neat and orderly arrangement, it can accommodate quite a lot of diners. Tables and chairs are arranged lengthways to the boundary between the handwashing area and the toilet. My friend and I got a table set close to the cashier's desk.
The partition for the dining and handwashing area is a round door. The handwashing area and toilet were very clean. The lighting is also very optimal. It's not a very spacious restaurant, but it's very cosy.
What was even more amazing was...? The ramen was delicious, the portion was large, and the texture of the oil was my type. I ordered the spicy soup with chicken toppings. I forgot the details of what it was called, so I just remembered the flavour. I was amazed and even complimented the waiters that the food was really good. I hope Moshi-Moshi ramen will open a branch in Jakarta.
What's nice is that the service is super friendly, even though they look very busy and tired, it doesn't reduce their friendliness when serving customers. Honestly, I would like to recommend this ramen if one of my friends is visiting Malang and comes to this area.
I sincerely pray for this ramen to grow, I love praying for good things especially if it's food. Ha ha ha
