Met Zaza after Four Months

hallo everyone ...

Having two places of residence gives me room to miss certain people when I am not in the same city as them. For example, when I am in Ciputat, my hometown, my friends in Pekalongan miss me very much and often ask when I am coming home. Of course, that's because I only go home every three or four months, and even then, only for a week. The rest of the time, I am more often in South Tangerang.

Like my return yesterday, my close friend Zaza and I hardly had time to meet because I had a busy family schedule, and so did she. After almost not seeing each other, Zaza and I finally had a day before I returned to Ciputat. We agreed to meet at a place that had been decided.

GSF CAFE AND EATERY

We promised to meet around 2 pm. Because I had an event in the morning, so did Zaza. So that afternoon we finally met after four months. When we arrived at the designated restaurant, we ordered food for ourselves. I ordered grilled chicken and a strawberry mocktail coffee, while Zaza ordered milk coffee and crispy chicken for her meal.

While waiting for our food to arrive, we chatted about everything that had happened in our lives. Even though we often kept in touch via chat, it was still different from meeting in person.

She was married, so she had new things that she didn't have before. The dynamics of her new household and her husband's environment were growing. Meanwhile, I was still in a situation where I was only occasionally enthusiastic about certain things.

Soon, our orders arrived. The grilled chicken served with a special sauce, potatoes and vegetable salad was quite nice, while my strawberry mocktail was a little... beyond my expectations. The acidity of the coffee combined with the acidity of the strawberries was not quite to my taste. But it was okay.

In addition to the main course, we also ordered fried tofu stuffed with meatballs, dipped in soy sauce. While savouring our respective orders, we continued to chat about many things, including parenting.

As we grow older, things like this become more familiar in our daily lives. That’s how the day went. We met, ate, drank coffee, shared stories, and went home. It was nice to finally meet on the last day. Tomorrow, I have to go back to Ciputat and return to my usual routine.

Alright, thank you for reading and stoppping by in my post. See you in my next post. have a nice day!
