I just came back from McDonald to buy supper. I was about a 5-minute walk from the house, and it's open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It was funny because before marriage, I usually ate in the middle of the night, but now, I am always caught if I try to eat something in the middle of the night, and if I am caught, I need to prepare myself to be lectured by her, which for sure she will not stop until she is tired and goes to sleep. It was very rare for my wife to eat food, especially in the middle of the night, but if she did request food at that time, that meant she was really hungry.
We only bought fried chicken since there was some rice left from the evening. The best thing about Singapore that was impossible to find in Malaysia, or at least in my hometown, was that it was really worth it when they did promotions like the McD fried chicken. Instead of buying 2 pieces of chicken for $7.90, they offer 6 pieces of fried chicken for $10, and it was a great deal. Im adding another value deal of $5 set of McChicken burger with sets that usually cost more.
After waiting for a few minutes, our order was done. There were not many people at that time, but the order from Grab Food made our order quite slow.
We went home and ate our supper. The chicken was just being fried, and it tasted very fresh. It was the perfect supper when it was eaten with the evening leftovers.
At last, we only ate 2 pieces of chicken, and the rest will become our breakfast tomorrow. Thanks for accompanying me while I was drinking my coffee. See you on my next journey.
