From Little India to Dhoby Ghaut Station, Singapore

Hello good people on hive...

Singapore is like an MRT tour for me, because the small city can be traversed by train. Among the public transportation options available in Singapore, I prefer the MRT because it's very easy to navigate, and there's no need to tap out for transit, just walk a little further. This is one of my trips around Singapore by MRT.

At that time, Little India Station was the closest station to my hotel. Like other train lines in other countries, Little India Station is on the North East line—marked in purple. From this station, you can transfer to other stations on the Blue Line.

As the photo collage above shows, the corridor leading to the platform is very long and wide. You'll need to conserve your energy when traveling by train, as each station is quite long. Pay attention to any signs to avoid getting lost and wasting more energy.

Another thing I love about the MRT is that you don't need to buy a train card—like in Indonesia or Kuala Lumpur. Surprisingly, you can use your ATM card or credit card with the Visa logo, and you're free to go anywhere. Just tap, then you will see how big this station...!

Once you're done with Tap, you'll have to go down two more floors. So, this is a fairly tall escalator. You'll notice that the platform area is very clean and vintage.

There are route maps on several sides, so if you're careful to read which route you're going to, you won't get lost.

...and here is the whole maps of several sides...

After my train arrived, I got off at the red line transit station. From there, I had to take the escalator up two more floors and follow the signs. That was all I could do: follow the signs.

No matter where you are, train stations are always crowded. You have to walk quickly if you don't want to be jostled by other people or waste time getting to your destination.

At that time, I wanted to go to Dhouby Ghaut station, a station that would take me to a very famous and beautiful place: Fort Canning Tree Tunnel.

Finally, I arrived at Dhoby Ghaut station. This is where I stopped and restarted my journey elsewhere. Traveling to Singapore feels so easy with the MRT. Every place is easy to reach, and even if I get lost, I can just return to the next station and continue my journey without having to exit. Not exiting the station means not paying double. So that's how Singapore amazed me. I really love this public transportation.

Anyway... Hasta La Vista...

Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.

I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger. here my book list and here also
