Jakarta is experiencing a long and relentless rainy season. I used to love the rain, but lately I've come to hate it. Can you imagine it raining when you're on your way to work? I'm just as annoyed as you are. So I always grumble when it rains at inopportune times. The rain also makes me lazy about doing laundry. Besides, it's hard to dry, right? So the rain has really been annoying me lately. It often comes when I'm on my way to and from work.
Like that day, it started raining when I finished my work. So I stopped by a traditional coffee shop—not a fancy one. I also thought I should have dinner there because waiting for the rain to stop on an empty stomach is not a good idea.
I stopped by the Colorful Coffee Shop. After getting a seat, I looked at the menu. After looking at the menu, I was intrigued by the snacks, like caramelized bananas and French fries.
So I ordered those two snacks and a glass of iced coffee. I like drinking iced coffee even when the weather is cold, because I don't like hot coffee because it runs out quickly.
Don't be surprised, I've been eating a little more than usual lately. Then, I was craving something sweet, so this caramel banana was perfect. Then I didn't need dinner anymore because I figured French fries would be enough.
Anyway... Hasta La Vista...
