Hello ASEAN Buddies...

When you search about culinary in Singapore, I bet you will find Nasi Lemak as a recommendation. But when I didn't search it on the internet, I knew it from the menu books that I read in every restaurant in Singapore that I visited.

Ordering other menus besides Nasi Lemak is indeed risky. You know that I consider about halal food and Nasi Lemak is one of the halal foods available in every restaurant besides Nasi Briyani. I like Nasi Briyani but this time I want to try this famous Nasi Lemak.

Actually, in my country there is also Nasi Lemak, but the menu is not a heavy meal. Nasi Lemak in my country is a breakfast menu that only contains the slice of omelette, Peanut and Anchovy Sambal, then rice cooked with coconut milk and I don't like this type of Nasi Lemak. I always avoid this menu in my country, but apparently Nasi Lemak in Singapore has different contents and seen from the side dish, this is a heavy meal portion.

The Nasi Lemak I ordered at one of the restaurants in the Garden By The Bay area consisted of rice, sunny side egg, chicken wings, fritters, stir-fried cabbage, the slice of fish—dunno what kind of fish, peanuts and anchovies, sliced cucumber, and of course sambal. This was a complete package of Nasi Lemak that I had to pay 10 Singapore dollars for—please check the exchange rate by yourself.

This is the sambal--who always complete the Nasi Lemak menu.

This Nasi Lemak is a big portion for me. I just eat the rice with the egg and the fish. I left the chicken wings because I was already full with others dishes. This Nasi Lemak menu is definitely different from the Nasi Lemak menu in my country, so I understand why this menu is very popular among tourists.

Have you ever try this food, guys?

I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of them are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.

Interesting, it's like in korean foods with lots of sides, looks really heavy. I'm also interested with those sauce, is that the sambal? You dip everything in there? Ir us there right way in eating it. 🤔

I didn't know what the ingredients are but it looks delicious and there's lots of sauce to choose to have a perfect bite.
