The Yummy Chicken Noodle in Dufan

Hello ASEAN Buddies...

Even though I love it, I rarely eat chicken noodle soup. Usually, I only eat chicken noodles once a month because I don't want to eat it too often. The maximum is only three times. Yes, I really limit it. However, if there is a certain event, I usually treat my stomach with chicken noodles—but that is also after calculating whether I have passed the limit or not. And this month I haven't eaten chicken noodles, so when I went to Dufan some time ago, I ordered chicken noodles instead of other menus.

Dufan is very spacious and finding a restaurant for lunch isn't difficult, but the challenge lies in ourselves—what we want to eat at that particular time. After being exhausted from riding three rides, my family and I decided to have lunch first to boost our energy for the potentially extreme rides. Our choice fell on Planet Bakso (Meatball), located right around the corner from the entrance.

I ordered Chicken Noodles.

Jakarta's chicken noodles are slightly different from my hometown's. Jakarta's chicken noodles have barely any broth—if you don't ask for much broth, they won't add any. In my hometown, the chicken noodles have a very rich broth. As for the chicken toppings, my hometown's toppings are typically a dark, stew-like consistency, while Jakarta's are not. So, when my family ordered chicken noodles, they were surprised by the portion and the light chicken toppings.

So I would like to say that Mie Ayam is one of the menus on cheating day, and when you are on holiday with your family you will definitely cheat like me….
