Hello Hivers Today is the day I decided to join this contest, so i went to supermarket to buy tofu for the challenge.
I know a lot of people think tofu has no flavor, but when cooked the right way, it can be one of the most delicious and satisfying ingredients out there! Today, I experiment in the kitchen and made a simple yet flavorful tofu dish using just a handful of everyday ingredients. The result? A crispy, savory, and slightly sweet and spicy dish that was packed with flavor in every bite!

The best thing about this dish is that it only requires a few simple ingredients that you might already have in your kitchen:

Cooking tofu doesn’t have to be complicated! Here’s how I made this dish:
1️⃣ Preparing the Tofu: Start by pressing the tofu to remove excess moisture. This step is important to help achieve that crispy texture. Once drained, cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes.
2️⃣ Coating and Frying: Lightly coat each tofu piece in cornstarch and breeding mix. This will create a beautiful crispy crust when fried. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the tofu until it’s golden brown and crispy on all sides. Once done, remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Sautéing the Aromatics: In the same pan, sauté the garlic and onion until fragrant and slightly caramelized. This is where all the flavor starts building up!
4️⃣ Adding the Bell Pepper: Toss in the bell pepper and cook for a few minutes until slightly softened but still crisp.
5️⃣ Making the Sauce: Add ketchup and a splash of water to create a flavorful sauce. Stir well to combine.
6️⃣ Bringing It All Together: Add the crispy tofu back into the pan and gently toss everything together until the tofu is evenly coated with the sauce.
7️⃣ Final Touch: Sprinkle fresh parsley on top for a burst of freshness and color.
