Welcome to my new post. How's everything? I hope all goes well. Today is Wednesday, are you busy? I spent the morning teaching my students. I was tired in the afternoon. So in the evening I cooked a meal for my family.
I told you about picking concinna leaves from my garden yesterday. Today, I'll tell you about a dish I made with those leaves and some meat. In our country, concinna leaves are also used in soups and salads. However, today I mixed them with fish and cooked them as a main dish. Let me first talk about the ingredients.
Ingredients-
- fish
- concinna leaves
- tomato
- onion
- chili
- fish sauce
Step-1
I mixed the fish with salt and some spices. Then I heated the oil. When the oil was hot, I added all the fish. I fried all the fish until they were dry. Then I put all those fried fish on a plate. There was a lot of oil in the pan, so I removed some of it.
Step-2
In step-2, I washed the onions and tomatoes and chopped them with a knife.
I also washed the concinna leaves and buds.
Step-3
When the oil is hot, I add the chopped tomatoes and onions and fry them. I added a little fish sauce along with the tomatoes and stirred it in. The purpose of adding a little fish sauce is to keep the concinna leaves from becoming too sour.
Once the tomatoes are crushed, I add the concinna leaves and buds and mix.
Step-4
After the concinna leaves and buds were wilted, I added the fried fish. Then I mixed everything together. My dad likes it spicy so I cut up some chili peppers and added them. Then I added some salt and spices and mixed everything together.
Step-5
Then I added a little more oil and left it for 15 minutes.
Now I have a delicious dish of fish concinna leaves. If you want to serve it as a soup, you should add a little water instead of oil in step 5. That's it for today.
