Hi Hivers!
This is my first participation on the #monomad challenge of the #BlackAndWhite community, usually I share colored photos and even sometimes too much sunny photos but I have some few black and white photos that I also want to share and thanks to my friend @fantagira who also joined this challenge here I have felt inspired to participate too.
First of all you have to read the community rules to be able to participate, they are simple issues but they must be taken into account. Here I leave you the post with the guidelines and information in case you also want to join: MONOMAD - December 25th - Please Read The Contest Rules Before Submitting Your Publications..
And here we go... my photos are in the big city, in the big city of New York during a lively trip. Everything is stimuli and a lot to see, there is a lot of rhythm and movement, nothing and no one rests, but among thousands of skyscrapers, cars, people and asphalt, there are also places where you can breathe, where you can breathe peace and calm, where we can sit down and have a coffee quietly while watching time and people go by... There are different urban oases in the city, large and well-known parks and smaller but also popular ones, such as Bryant Park, urban life in New York suddenly becomes more natural and slow.
Now there are no walls but a wall of very large trees that look like a barrier where many take shelter to rest, to talk with other people, to simply think and do nothing. In a city where everyone seems busy and in a hurry, there are also corners where speed is reduced even when walking while we look for a place to sit and stop.
There we stop, we leave the hustle and bustle outside on the sidewalk, we sit and look up, suddenly there are no more buildings or traffic lights, they are immense trees up there full of leaves that protect us from all the hustle and bustle that awaits us outside.
Because we have to get out of the green bubble, well in this case, in these photos, the black and white bubble to return to the rhythm of the city, to that life that never seems to stop, to the cars that pass incessantly and streets through which all those people who sat under the trees in the park pass by before and after...
Urban life continues around Bryant Park, as if time were at different speeds inside and outside, we change the scene seeing how everything changes, in each place and at each moment, even the colors.
