Greetings to the Black And White community, I hope you have a wonderful day!
A few days ago I did a casual studio photo shoot with my mother-in-law to continue practicing this beautiful art of studio photography and thus continue to improve my skills. I must admit that I am still very new to this style of photography and I know that I have to improve many things so that's why i do this shoots to pratice...
I will use these photos as an entry to the #monomad challenge contest.
She had already told me on several occasions that she wanted me to take some studio photos for her in the studio, so who better to practice with than her who was willing to be photographed!
My studio photography style is still very bright... I use three lights on the scene and everything is super illuminated, eliminating all traces of shadows on the person...
I like that because I can take the photo at ISO 100-200 and get a very good image quality... BUT it's not my favorite result...
I have noticed that "professionals" use light to play with shadows and get very interesting results with a lot of depth, is just that I haven't reached that point yet, so I must keep practicing!!! At least I'm already discovering what things I like more than others...
My mother-in-law changed her outfit and we took more photos with a slightly different lighting scheme. For these photos i only used two lights to try to have a little more shadows.
As for lighting, I liked the last photos more than the first ones, and for you, which one was your favorite photo?
Thanks for watching!!
