The Authority Of A Believer

in The Kingdom9 days ago

There's a verse in the Bible that says Jesus came that we might have life and that we might have it more abundantly.

First of all, let's focus on the word might.

That means that we have an opportunity and an option. We get to choose and wear the rule except that free gift of eternal life.

But what if that didn't just mean life after this world?

What if that meant life today?

We are created in the image of God, the Bible says, meaning that we're made in his likeness. We have similar qualities and attributes as him. And one of those is the ability and the power to dominate. We just have limited territory and capacity on that domination. One starting with our own life.

The Bible says to acknowledge God in all our ways and he will direct our path. The path is not for him to walk. He's just walking it with you. And we have the authority to dominate. We have the authority that Christ has given us to live our life with fruit, to live our life in abundance. We just have to apply the principles the Bible gives us.

Remember, the second part of that verse says that he wants us to have life more abundantly. And abundance means overflow. It means more than enough, which is literally the definition of wealth.

The Bible literally says the wealth of the wicked is stored up for the righteous. That's not just the wealth of money. That's the wealth of riches and ideas.

Ideas and kingdom businesses. God will give you that.

We just got to be walking in our word and be making sure that we are applying the principles the Bible tells us to apply. So that we can inherit the wealth that Jesus desires to give to us from John.

This is why Matthew 6:33 is so important.

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness

Seek him first and all these other things will be added unto you. That's a guarantee.
