Psalm 51:17 (KJV):
The sacrifice of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
Brokenness is never a one-time experience. This should be a continuous process of the heart, not only reserved when you find yourself in trouble and you seek God intervention.
If you look at children and observe them very closely, you will notice that always feel remorse when they caught for doing something wrong. For example, a child who breaks a glass may become humble and will not hesitate to answer to their parents easily when they are asked to carry out some task.
Also, Some Christians only show brokenness when they are facing challenges. They only fast and pray when they are in trouble or something in their life is at risk. May their job is at risk, their marriage is about to end, or they have health challenges that is about to claim their life. However, when they finally get the answer that they are looking for, they go back to their normal state.
People of God, why you might be privilege to access a certain kind of blessings from intermittent brokenness, such as the restoration to normal of what you have been going through challenges. Restoration like saving you from a job loss, health challenges. There are many more treasures and blessings that you can access through consistent brokenness.
One of these precious treasures is great inner wisdom. Wisdom and revelation has so many dimensions that can only be taught by God, and there are levels of the realm of the spirit that He only can take you to. These are only accessible through consistent and not occasional obedience to him.
Believers, I urge you to always allow God to do his marvellous work through you continuously, and not only during the times of challenges. Break and prostrate before him daily, He will surely reveal deep things of his heart to you at the right time.
GOLDEN NUGGET:
Wisdom and revelation have a level that only God can give, and also there are realms of the spirit that only he can take you to. These can be accessed by a believer through conscious and continuous brokenness before God. Not occasionally but consistency. When we break before God daily, He will always reveal to us the depth of his heart and his infinite wisdom to you.
