the only in-game use case of wood and stone is that they are used to make the claim of SPS tokens and research but at this time their conversion value to DEC is greater than the value of SPSs obtainable by using them to make the claim from plots.
That is why I prefer to sell them and will only use them if it is convenient to produce SPSs with land plots in the future but right now this production is highly inconvenient
