Landed and arrived safely at your destination.
After almost 24 hours from departure we went through the threshold of the hotel and arrived. The flight with Qatar was good although I have to say that the choice of entertainment was perhaps a bit to be revised. A selection made above all of great blockbusters and little else, if you want Italian. A few more sought-after films would have been nice. Fortunately I had my Predators to see and so I shot myself Predator 2, with an 80s style that you can't do more than that. Unjustified and summary violence beyond any saying and action scenes that the actors dream of (leaveing them to the stuntmen).
On the way back, nothing is easier than shooting me another one.
The meals were good, a good variety with really tasty desserts.
Upon arrival we had already completed all the documents for which the checks went as smooth as oil. As in all of Southeast Asia, English has a somewhat rough pronunciation which makes me an expert, while my girlfriend (who is proud of her American accent), struggles to understand.
In short, so far everything is fine and in the norm.
Now let's sleep, the rest of the group is coming tomorrow!
Atterrati e arrivati sani e salvi a destinazione.
Dopo quasi 24 ore dalla partenza valchiamo la soglia dell’hotel e siamo arrivati. Il volo con Qatar è stato buono anche se devo dire che la scelta di intrattenimento era forse un po’ da rivedere. Una selezione fatta sopratutto di grandi blockbuster e poco altro, se si vuole l’italiano. Qualche film più ricercato avrebbe fatto piacere. Fortunatamente avevo i miei Predator da vedere e così mi sono sparato Predator 2, con uno stile anni ‘80 che più di così non si può. Violenza ingiustificata e sommaria oltre ogni dire e scene d’azione che gli attori se le sognano (lasciandole agli stuntmen).
Al ritorno niente di più facile che me ne spari un’altro.
I pasti sono stati buoni, una buona varietà con dolci davvero gustosi.
All’arrivo avevamo già espletato tutti i documenti per cui i controlli sono andati lisci come l’olio. Come in tutto il sud-est asiatico, l’inglese ha una pronuncia un po’ approssimativa il che mi rende un esperto, mentre la mia ragazza (che va fiera del suo accento americano), fatica a comprendere.
Insomma, fin qui tutto bene e nell norma.
Ora dormiamo, che domani arriva il resto del gruppo!
