It can get very lonely in New Zealand especially if you recently moved there like me as it is almost 2 months since my move to NZ.

Fortunately, my colleague enjoys exploring, so we made the best of the Christmas and New Year holidays to explore the South Island.

Today we drove to Akaroa, a beautiful town with a colonial history.

I have a few photos to share, but I am sharing my lunch with you today.

Felix and I had Thai Fried Rice made of eggs, carrots, cauliflower, peas, cabbage, broccoli, onion, and spring onion.

It was my first time having a Thai meal and it was 😋👌

Holidays are the hardest. I was lucky and a friend from the Netherlands came to visit. Normally my holidays are quiet.
