Ya les he mencionado en muchas ocasiones lo mucho que me gusta el sushi y aunque ya tengo mi lugar favorito a donde ir tenía también pendiente intentar hacer sushi en casa y si bien no es lo mismo quería vivir la experiencia.

I've mentioned many times how much I love sushi, and although I already have my favorite place to go, I also wanted to try making sushi at home, and while it's not the same, I wanted to have the experience.

Esta semana Dani y yo nos decidimos finalmente a preparar sushi en casa por primera vez así que investigamos un poco el hicimos nuestra lista con los ingredientes que necesitabamos, entre ellos alga nori, arroz para sushi, vinagre de arroz, queso crema, salsa de soya y ya que estábamos experimentando por primera vez sustituimos el salmón por 2 latas de atún y tiras de pescado blanco.

This week Dani and I finally decided to make sushi at home for the first time, so we did some research and made our list of the ingredients we needed, including nori seaweed, sushi rice, rice vinegar, cream cheese, soy sauce, and since we were experimenting for the first time, we substituted the salmon with 2 cans of tuna and strips of white fish.

Dani se encargó de todo el proceso, desde preparar el arroz hasta armar los rollos y la verdad para ser la primera vez quedaron bastante bien y lo más importante es que quedaron deliciosos y con ese sabor característico del sushi, lo que nos indicó que lo hicimos bien y la experiencia fue sin duda increíble.

Dani took care of the entire process, from preparing the rice to assembling the rolls, and honestly, for it being the first time, they turned out quite well. Most importantly, they were delicious and had that characteristic sushi flavor, which told us we did it right, and the experience was undoubtedly incredible.
