Hoy les traigo una entrada un poco más personal para compartirles la increíble noche que pasamos celebrando los 18 años de mi peque. Sí, ya es toda una adulta, ¡aunque para mí siempre será mi peque!
Para conmemorar este gran paso a la mayoría de edad, decidimos hacer algo especial. La celebración fue en un sitio que nos habían recomendado mucho aquí en Valencia, específicamente en La Trigaleña, llamado "El Patio". Es un lugar relativamente nuevo y créanme, ¡quedamos gratamente sorprendidos!
El grupo de celebración estuvo de lujo: mi hermana con algunas de sus mejores amigas, nuestro querido "Brother from another Mother," Moi, mi abuela (que siempre se apunta a todo) y yo.

Today I'm bringing you a slightly more personal post to share with you the incredible night we had celebrating my little girl's 18th birthday. Yes, she's all grown up now, although to me she'll always be my little girl!
To commemorate this big step into adulthood, we decided to do something special. The celebration was at a place that had been highly recommended to us here in Valencia, specifically at La Trigaleña, called “El Patio.” It's a relatively new place, and believe me, we were pleasantly surprised!
The celebration group was fantastic: my sister with some of her best friends, our dear “Brother from another Mother,” Moi, my grandmother (who is always up for anything), and me.
Llegamos a "El Patio" cerca de las 9:00 p.m. El local estaba aún un poco tranquilo, lo cual fue perfecto. Teníamos nuestra mesa reservada y el personal fue súper amable; nos atendieron de inmediato y nos hicieron sentir muy cómodos. Para empezar, pedimos unas jarras de mojitos y, debo confesarlo, ¡fueron mi cosa favorita de toda la noche! Estaban espectaculares, de esos que te hacen querer pedir una jarra más antes de terminar la primera.
Luego pasamos a la comida, y aquí viene la sorpresa: ¡todo estaba buenísimo! Pedimos unas pizzas que estaban realmente deliciosas, y más tarde, unos buenos tequeñitos para picar mientras cambiábamos los mojitos por unas cervecitas. La comida superó nuestras expectativas por completo.
La noche se fue entre risas, charlas y anécdotas. El ambiente en "El Patio" estuvo ideal, con una música variada y muy agradable que creaba la atmósfera perfecta para compartir.
We arrived at “El Patio” around 9:00 p.m. The place was still a little quiet, which was perfect. We had our table reserved, and the staff was super friendly; they served us right away and made us feel very comfortable. To start, we ordered some pitchers of mojitos, and I must confess, they were my favorite thing of the whole night! They were spectacular, the kind that make you want to order another pitcher before you finish the first one.
Then we moved on to the food, and here comes the surprise: everything was delicious! We ordered some pizzas that were really tasty, and later, some good tequeñitos to snack on while we switched from mojitos to beers. The food completely exceeded our expectations.
The night flew by with laughter, conversation, and stories. The atmosphere at El Patio was ideal, with a varied and very pleasant selection of music that created the perfect atmosphere for sharing.
Como anécdota divertida, en medio de la celebración, mi bias de BTS decidió hacer un live. ¡Obviamente tuve que pausar el chilling un momento para verlo! 🤭 Esos "cansones" no me sueltan ni en las celebraciones importantes, jajaja.
Fue una noche maravillosa, llena de buena vibra, excelente compañía y un ambiente súper chill para celebrar la llegada a los 18 de mi hermana.
Definitivamente, "El Patio" es un lugar que recomiendo si están por Valencia y buscan unos buenos drinks y comida rica.
Ya saben que amo las celebraciones con familia y amigos, son las mejores.

As a funny anecdote, in the middle of the celebration, my BTS bias decided to do a live stream. Obviously, I had to pause the chilling for a moment to watch it! 🤭 Those “cansones” won't let me go, even at important celebrations, hahaha.
It was a wonderful night, full of good vibes, excellent company, and a super chill atmosphere to celebrate my sister's 18th birthday.
I definitely recommend “El Patio” if you're in Valencia and looking for good drinks and delicious food.
You know I love celebrations with family and friends, they're the best.
