Llegamos a la heladería. Él eligió chocolate con maní, yo fresa con topping de chocolate. Nos sentamos cerca de la fuente, como si ese rincón nos abrazara. Mientras saboreábamos el helado, lo miré y pensé: qué bonito es compartir lo cotidiano con alguien que te hace sentir segura, ligera, tú misma.
No fue solo un paseo. Fue una pausa para celebrar lo que somos, lo que estamos construyendo, lo que sentimos sin tener que explicarlo.
We arrived at the ice cream shop. He chose chocolate with peanuts, I chose strawberry with chocolate topping. We sat near the fountain, as if that corner embraced us. While we savored the ice cream, I looked at him and thought: how beautiful it is to share everyday life with someone who makes you feel safe, light, yourself.
It wasn't just a walk. It was a pause to celebrate who we are, what we are building, what we feel without having to explain it.
