








Couple of days back, while walking at the back of my restaurant, I noticed some lovely pumpkin flowers waiting for me to be picked up! 😉
I picked around 10pcs, cleaned them out under clear running water and proceeded to cook them!
Next I made a light tempura batter...spiced it up with some cajun.
Next I dipped each petals in the tempura batter and fried until crispy and golden brown in color.
In less than 5 minutes, a yummy snack was ready!!!
From garden to plate in less than 5 minutes.
These tempuras are awesome with some sweet chili sauce on the side.
Pumpkin flowers tempura anyone!?!?
