I hadn't planned on eating pizza today; in fact, I'm trying to eat better and find different things to cook, but my father-in-law surprised us with a pizza. It was a nice surprise for me because, honestly, I didn't feel like cooking today. It's been a long time since I've had a break from making lunch, and today I felt a huge sense of relief.
On top of that, I haven’t been sleeping well these past few days—especially last night, when I only got about 4 hours of sleep. My insomnia is getting worse every day. It was a “Four Seasons” pizza—my favorite—and honestly, it was delicious. I really enjoyed it because I don’t think I’ll be eating pizza for quite a while if I want to improve my health. Let’s just say this is my one exception. My son loves pizza, so we took the opportunity to watch a movie while we ate. He loves horror movies—no matter how much I insist on watching another genre, he always wants to watch horror—so we watched Insidious
Meanwhile, my dinner was lighter; I don't really like boiled plantains, but I'll have to get used to them.
