Yesterday morning we all went out and swam for a while. The water was warmer the prior day but still nice.
Then we got our climbing shoes together and headed for Little Cottonwood Canyon to do some bouldering. The trail is nice and mellow and the boulders are really close.
I managed to climb 3 problems all on the very easy side but I found out my strength is so diminished right now I was struggling even on the easiest. I felt a bit of my form but my lack of strength and the mile high elevation had me worked.
R beat himself up falling all over the place but got a good bit of bouldering in.
All 4 of us got bouldering in and we will be going up to my close area I have developed this summer.
The view out over Salt Lake City.
The canyon is pretty amazing and super steep. We were out for a while and then headed back to the Air BnB for a bit.
J and @stryeyz played a game of chess outside.
Then they played Jenga.
Before the concert we went to eat at SPITZ which is SUPER tasty Mediterranean food.
I got the Doner basket with Lamb and it was insanely delicious. I wish I had the 500K for a franchise.
WE headed back to the Air BnB and R and @stryeyz went swimming. I was looking at the fencing around the pool equipment and had to laugh at the 2 types of screws used.
We then headed for the concert and parked in the side lot with way more exits available.
It was a fantastic concert and Puscifer, A Perfect Circle, and Primus all took turns playing a few songs and they rotated through for the whole show.
Our view. I never really saw them performing, but I sure heard it.
The view as everyone left after the nearly 3 hour show.
Today was all driving as we got home after 11 hours on the road and I am destroyed. I was super hung over so the first part of the drive was shitty.
