Una masa suave y lisa,
en un plato no estaba tranquila,
se tambalea de forma sencilla
y sale del utensilio qué la retenía.
Se mueve hacia un lado,
buscando un calor grato,
hasta que ve un asador cercano
y se va hasta este sin pensarlo.
A soft and smooth dough,
on a plate it was not calm,
it wobbles easily
and slips out of the utensil that held it.

Sobre la parrilla negra se sube
y el fuego un poco la diluye,
la masa se vuelve plana
y se dora en la parte baja.
