En el refrigerador
hay un plato de claro color,
dentro de este un hielo se vio
al que el clima no le gustó
y de ahí salió.
Caminó entre la cocina,
hasta donde unos tomates habían,
el hielo los saludo con cortesía,
a ellos los embargó la cobardía
y se marcharon sin decir buenos días.
In the refrigerator

El hielo se quedó nostálgico
y brotó una lágrima de inmediato,
esta se fue por el piso andando
hasta que llegó a un fruto raro
que se levantó al sentir el quebranto.
Era una mandarina buena,
que no juzga por la apariencia
hasta el hielo se acercó sin cautela
y lo abrazó con la cáscara amarillenta,
para consolar su tristeza.

until it reached a strange fruit
that rose when it felt the break.

to console its sadness.
Ese abrazo cálido y sincero,
derritió el hielo
y se encontró bajó esto,
un copo de avena ligero,
que se congeló hace tiempo.
El copo de avena recuperó su vida
y fue en busca de su familia,
ahora en un frasco de vidrio habita
y esta feliz con su vida,
rodeado de lo más valioso en la vida.
That warm and sincere hug
melted the ice
and found underneath it,
a light oat flake,
that had frozen long ago.
The oat flake regained its life
and went in search of its family.
Now it lives in a glass jar
and is happy with its life,
surrounded by the most valuable things in life.
