Un árbol ha salido de la nevera,
que cosa extraña es esta,
¿será que se le cerro la puerta,
cuando buscaba lechuga fresca?
El árbol va sin casi nada,
solo lleva una maleta clara
se va sin decir nada
y en el césped descansa.
A tree has come out of the fridge,

Las horas pasan
y el árbol da sombra a quienes pasan,
hasta que aparece una corta rama
y él la guarda en la maleta que carga.
El árbol con la maleta se marcha,
regresa a la nevera helada.
¿Qué será lo que ahí pasa,
que el árbol regresa, aunque no es su casa?

En la nevera lo espera en tomate,
a quien el árbol saluda de forma agradable,
luego saca la rama de la maleta
y la acomoda sobre la verdura fresca.
Ahora el tomate lleva una rama,
que lo hace ver lleno de elegancia,
esto es lo que al árbol buscaba,
que el tomate recuperara la confianza
y se sintiera una verdura magna.
In the refrigerator awaits him in tomato,
