A Delicious Recipe: Yellowfin Tuna Escabeche

‎Today, I've got a delicious recipe that's perfect for either lunch or dinner.

‎It's called Yellowfin Tuna Escabeche.

‎This dish is absolutely delicious, and satisfying.

‎We've got leftover fried yellowfin from last night's dinner, so I'll repurpose it for today's recipe.

‎Instead of just reheating it, let's make it even more delicious so it's not boring to eat.

‎Below, you'll find the detailed instructions for making it.

‎Ingredients:


‎• 4 slices leftover fried yellowfin
‎• 2 medium onions
‎• 3 cloves garlic
‎• 1-inch ginger
‎• 1 medium tomato
‎• 1/4 cup vinegar
‎• 2 tbsp ketchup
‎• 2 tbsp sugar
‎• 1/2 cup water
‎• salt and pepper to taste
‎• cooking oil

Instructions:


‎I started by heating oil in a pan. Next, I added the chopped onions and garlic, sautéing them. Then I tossed the sliced tomato, letting it soften and blend into the mix.

‎After that, I poured ketchup, sugar, and some water.

‎I stirred everything together and let it simmer.

After that, I added the leftover yellowfin, coating each piece with the sauce.

I also seasoned it with salt and pepper. But when I tasted it, it had a strong fishy flavor. That's when I realized I forgot to add ginger and vinegar, so I added them right away. Then, I let the mixture simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickened slightly.

‎And that's it! You can now serve the Yellowfin Tuna Escabeche. Don't forget to eat it with hot steaming rice. ☺️
