Since I wasn’t in a rush, I tagged along to Iran-Mehr Jewelry* , where they bought some shiny thing I didn’t even see, and then we left.

Mr. Asadi himself was there too, apparently close friends with Dr. Dehghan. The guys introduced themselves, but I didn’t say anything — just stood there quietly, trying to process the weird wave of feelings. My dad’s actually one of the people Mr. Asadi holds in high regard, so… that added a layer.
Then, out of nowhere, Marzieh Mohammadi* popped up after the tea lady and went, “Oh wow, Naviiiid! Hi!”
Totally caught me off guard.
Marzieh’s one of the filmmakers from Kerman — I’d only ever seen her photos before. Apparently, she works there now!
After that, we went to Makran restaurant for the vultures crew gathering.
Seeing little Mahoora (we call her Maghooli) was the highlight — she’s learned how to clap now, and it’s ridiculously cute.
We had a few mini-electricity adventures and dealt with their very entertaining waiter.
Later we excused Sheydaii (we had forgotten to call her), but told her, “If you want plain fries, you’ll have to get up and order them yourself from the burger guy!”

شایان هم جیگریه رو برداشت و یک میلیون و هشتصد کشید و اومدیم بیرون و چون عجله نداشتم همراه‌شون رفتم جواهری ایران‌مهر، یه زیوری هم اونجا خریدن که من اصلا ندیدم‌ش و اومدیم بیرون.
از نکات جالب اینکه گمونم اولین بار بود که می‌رفتم اونجا، یه احساس عجیبی توی فضای فروشگاه و کارکنان‌ش بود از جنس، احترام و آرامش و با وقار بودن و آدم حسابی بودن و فرهنگ پارسی و... .
خود آقای اسدی هم بود که خیلی با دکتر دهقان آشنا بود و بچه‌ها هم خودشون رو معرفی کردن ولی من چیزی نگفتم، داشتم احساسات خودم رو برانداز می‌کردم، آخه بابای من هم از کسانیه که آقای اسدی احترام ویژه‌ای براش قاعله.
مرضیه محمدی هم یهویی بعد از مسئول چایی اومد گفت "عه نوید سلاااام...!" و من خیلی جا خوردم، مرضیه از کارگردانان کرمونه، و من همیشه عکس‌ش رو دیده بودم. مرضیه گویا اونجا کار می‌کرد.

دیگه بعد از اونجا هم رفتیم مکران، جمع کراکس، دیدن ماغولی بسیار شیرین بود. یاد گرفته بود دست بزنه. یه داستان‌هایی هم با برق داشتیم و پیش‌خدمت بامزه‌شون. بعدش هم از دل چیداغی در آوردیم ولی بهش گفتیم اگه سیب‌زمینی ساده بخوای باید خودت پاشی بری برگری سفارش بدی!
